Register before April 5, 2011 and save on the registration fee.


1. All participants need to register using the secure online form.

4. An official receipt will be sent to you via email before the event.


5. The badges and other documents will not be mailed out; you have to pick them up on site at the registration desk.

 

6. The presenters of an oral or poster must register for the whole symposium (option B or C). They can not register for only one day (One day pass).

1Regular registration fees include: • Admission to sessions, poster and commercial exhibition areas • The complete scientific program • The delegate’s bag and documentation (including symposium abstracts) • Sunday’s and Tuesday’s welcoming cocktail • Lunches and breaks.

2Student registration fees include: the same activities as regular fees. But the registrant must be a full-time student at the time of registration. A letter of confirmation from the Department Chair must accompany a student registration. Copies of student identification cards are not acceptable.

3Excursion 1 - Peatland restoration: June 17-18, minimum: 20, maximum: 52 participants. Lodging: double occupancy.

4Excursion 2 - Substrate production and uses in horticulture: June 17, minimum: 25, maximum: 40 participants.

5Excursion 3 – Discover the production cycles of growing media, from harvesting to bagging, including bog restoration and management: June 17, minimum: 25, maximum: 40 participants.

10Excursion 8 – Natural peatland on the south shore (Grande plée Bleue): June 14, minimum: 15 participants.

11Accompanying person fees include: • Admission to poster and commercial exhibition areas • Sunday’s and Tuesday’s welcoming cocktails.

12Banquet: The banquet is not included in regular, student or accompanying person fees. The banquet will be held in the chapel room of the Musée de l’Amérique française (located 1.3 km from the Loews Le Concorde hotel, approximately 10 minutes walk).

13Outdoor rotisserie BBQ: The BBQ is not included in regular, student or accompanying person fees. This BBQ will be concomitant to a large static commercial exhibition at the Van den Hende Gardens of Université Laval.

14Workshop on Sphagnum Farming: June 19-22, this fee includes transportation and lodging, minimum: 17, maximum: 45 participants. Lodging: double occupancy.

15Workshop on Sphagnum Farming: June 20-21, this fee does not include transportation and lodging.

16Workshop on Sphagnum Farming: for participants who need transportation from and to Québec City but do not need lodgement in New Brunswick. Fee includes admission, two lunches (June 20-21), and snacks. Meals (lunch and dinner) during the two days of transportation (June 19 and 22) are not included (but bus stops are planned). Participants should be aware that transportation represents about 16 hour drive in total. Deadline for registration: Wednesday, June 7th, 2011.

Method of payment:

Full payment in Canadian dollars should be made when you register. Payment can be made according to the following procedures:


•    Check must be drawn on a Canadian bank and made payable to the order of : Symposium International sur la Gestion Responsable des Tourbières et la Production de Substrats de Croissance.


•    Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). The transaction will appear under the name « AZIMUTS gestion d’événements » on your next statement.



Cancellation Policy:

Refunds will be provided for conference registrations cancelled in writing before Tuesday, April 5, 2011. An administrative charge of 100 $CA will apply. No refund will be possible after this date.

Delegates' substitutions can be made at any time, but will require advance written notice by Monday, June 6, 2011.

 

Certificate of attendance:

A certificate of attendance will be available on site.

 

 

Official Letter of Invitation:

An official letter of invitation designed to obtain a VISA and authorization requirements in certain countries will be sent upon request and ONLY after the registration form and the full payment have been received.
